• Automatic Format Detection

  • Plugin now probes the browser (canPlayType) to choose between WebM or MP4, removing the need for separate “format” parameters.

• Global Video Caching

  • Introduced a _VideoCache to store one <video> element and corresponding PIXI.Texture per filename.

  • Prevents reloads (and flashes) when the same video is used across multiple scenes.

• Shared Sprite Factory

  • Background sprites now reference cached textures via a lightweight factory (getVideoSprite), improving performance and reducing memory churn.

• Custom Scenes Enhancements

  • Supports lists of base filenames for custom scenes, with random selection on entry.
